A Family Tradition For Over 100 Years!

While many family businesses have stories that span generations, ours is unique in the way it has evolved. The Sutton family tradition in business began in 1921, and today I am proud to represent the third generation carrying that legacy forward.

Our story starts with my grandfather, George Murphy Sutton. In 1920, while living in Oklahoma City, he came across a classified advertisement in the Los Angeles Times for a Ford dealership in Southern California. He seized the opportunity, purchasing what was then a small dealership in the quiet town of Inglewood.

My grandfather successfully operated the Ford dealership until his passing in 1948. At just 24 years old, my father stepped in to continue the family business, dedicating more than five decades to the automotive industry while upholding the values of honesty, hard work, and exceptional customer service.

That same commitment to family, integrity, and serving our customers inspired my father and me to establish Sutton RV in Eugene. More than a century after our family's business journey began, we remain dedicated to providing quality RVs, outstanding service, and helping families create memories that will last a lifetime.
